FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL SERVICES.
Serving our community since 1980, Time-Out is more than a shelter. The Mission Statement of Time-Out is Twofold:
- Provision of direct services and shelter to domestic abuse victims, sexual assault victims and their children.
- To increase public awareness of and to reduce society's tolerance of domestic abuse and sexual assault, as a means to eventual elimination of these problems.
- Domestic Violence Program:
We provide support and services to victims of domestic violence.
- Sexual Assault Program:
We provide support and services to victims of sexual assault and childhood sexual abuse.
- Children Services:
We offer parenting tips and help to resolve conflict while supporting you and your family by listening and discussing options.
- Community Education:
We are available to present information about domestic abuse, sexual assault and our program services.
- Outreach Offices:
Our primary office is located in Ladysmith. We also have offices located in Washburn County and Price County to better serve the people in these areas.
- Legal Advocacy:
We can help you prepare a restraining order and are available to go to court with you.
- Resource and Referral:
We connect individuals with other helping agencies in their community.
- 24-Hour Crisis Line:
Our crisis line is toll-free and confidential, you do not have to give your name. We are here to help you.
- Shelter Services:
We are a safe house for women and their children. We also
help men who are in abusive situations find a safe place to stay.
- Volunteer Training:
If you have extra time and would like to volunteer, we will train you to assist us with our program.
